Vajra Guru World Peace Ceremony will be celebrated from 17th April to 6th May 2012, in the region Goli (Solukhumbu), in the Himalayas of Nepal at a height of 3,100 metres. The purpose of this event is to recite 11,000,000 times the Vajra Guru Mantra for the benefit of all beings. More than 500 lamas from all Tibetan lineages will attend and also His Eminence Shechen Rabjam Rinpoche has already confirmed his attendance to guide the puja. Furthermore, we have sent a communication of the Ceremony to all root Lamas and Heads of the different Tibetan lineages, Buddhist masters of other traditions, yogis, and so on…to spread this event to all their centres, students and practitioners around the world.

We all are experiencing a significant transformation in the world. The world has never been so divided as now, religious wars, genocide, lack of respect for the planet, economic crisis, depression, poverty, the wave of natural disasters. The world needs more union and compassion among all beings. We feel that ceremonies like this can encourage a new direction for many people and can bring growth and prosperity to many corners of this world.

The Organizing Committee has asked us, along with the NGO Be Human Nepal, to help with the spreading of this event and with the collection of funds for the realization of this ceremony outside the borders of Nepal.

This ceremony join Buddhist centres of different Tibetan tradition, zen, yogis, gurus, and Vipassana meditation groups, practitioners and international organizations of Yoga, Reiki, alternative therapies ... people who work from the heart.

A Ceremony makes a call for unity and diversity beyond lineage, tradition, school, philosophy or religion. Working together for World Peace and for the change in the collective consciousness.
